Healthy kids and teenager programmes help set the fundamental basis for later life.Healthy Kids and Teenagers Programmes

What children eat as they are growing up is crucial to their future development, as is their fluid intake, the amount of exercise they do and their exposure to environmental factors. The years from 5 to 16 are especially important in laying down the fundamental patterns for later life.

Common health disorders in children are blood sugar problems (potentially leading to diabetes), allergies and intolerances, weak immune systems (constantly catching the latest bug at school), behavioural or learning difficulties, digestive disorders and obesity.

Children need water (we lose 1.5 litres daily), proteins vital for growth, essential fatty acids, minerals, complex carbohydrates, fibre and trace minerals. Deficiency may lead to poor skin, appetite problems, energy dips or hyperactivity, disturbed sleep patterns and weight management problems. What they often get is sugar, hydrogenated fats, artificial flavourings and refined foods.

We aim not only to correct immediate problems but also to provide long-term education and guidance for parents. We can help with diets, lifestyle choices and by dispelling the common myths which make raising children so difficult.

Our Programmes

Our programmes are tailored to fit the particular issues facing your child, be it an exclusion diet for allergies, blood sugar balancing and support or other underlying symptoms. Our senior practitioners will assess each young person through the use of a questionnaire, consultation and examination (as appropriate) and non invasive diagnostic tools to assess baseline health and identify any specific health issues. Where appropriate biomedical tests, spinal assessment or nutrition assessment will also be used. Any key issues identified will be discussed during the appointment.

A detailed report will follow within 14 days and will include specific findings, a recommended treatment protocol, nutritional plan and any recommended remedies or supplements to commence the treatment programme. Our senior practitioners are CRB checked.
