On this website we discuss how illness is caused by imbalance – whether structural or chemical imbalance in the body; mental, emotional or spiritual imbalance or disharmony within our environment and how it affects our energy, vitality and our ability to heal.

In our Health Update and throughout this website you can read tips on how to improve your general health and may find answers to your specific health problems. We offer many programmes to guide you to better health at particular stages in life such as in childhood, adolescence, for those seeking to get pregnant and for the changes in menopause. We have programmes that help with stress, losing weight, and we can lead you through a safe and effective detoxification in the spring and autumn.

We have gifts, natural food supplements prepared to improve your wellbeing, products we know people find difficult to purchase or products specially recommended from our experience.

You can order repeat prescriptions from the WebClinic and get emergency remedies through our acute service.

Our Clinics

Our main integrated Clinic is based just outside Winchester in Hampshire. Run by Lisa Steel, we provide a medical setting for the effective management of the complete range of health issues through the use of non-pharmaceutical methods, natural remedies and by helping you to help yourself to get better.

We have recently opened a subsidiary clinic in Hove in East Sussex. Based at The Acupuncture Clinic, the Hove Centre offers the same range of naturopathic treatments.

We use state of the art diagnostic techniques to investigate the causes of your symptoms and draw on a range of therapies to make a personalized treatment plan to allow the body to heal without toxic side effects. 

We are a Centre of Excellence for Autism. See in our case studies how our expert Lisa Steel has helped many children improve their ability to cope with life through natural, gentle but effective therapies.

Our Natural Fertility programme has had much recent success. We investigate the various reasons couples are having problems with gentle non invasive methods and use Naturopathy instead of or alongside IVF.

This month at the Centre

The Naturopathic Centre is now available in Hove

The Naturopathic Centre practice in Hove, East Sussex has been growing steadily, with the result that unfortunately it has been getting harder and harder to get an appointment with Lisa there.

We are, therefore, very pleased to welcome Gerardo Reis to the Clinic, who will be primarily responsible for running and developing the Centre in Hove further. We are basing ourselves at The Acupuncture Clinic in Hove, but will still manage all appointments through the main clinic in Hursley. Gerardo will also be available for appointments in Hursley, allowing us to provide a Saturday clinic twice a month.

Gerardo trained as a Naturopath in Australia and worked in practice for several years there. His methods and techniques are very similar to Lisa's - such as being able to provide bioresonance diagnostics - and we excited that he has joined us.

The Spring Liver Detox 2011

Detoxing enables optimum healing to take place by clarifying the gut, cleansing the liver and kidneys as well as improving hair, skin and nail health. It aims to leave you feeling more energized and will kick start a weight loss plan.

We offer two suggested dates and two levels for the 10 day detox  depending on how far you want to go Level 1 - a thorough general cleanse  and Level 2 - a more intense cleanse with Liver Flush.

Reflexology

The art of Reflexology dates back to Ancient Egypt, India and China and has been adopted in the West in the last century when it was noted that reflex areas on the feet are linked to other areas and organs of the body.

By working on the feet a Reflexologist can aid healing and restore the body’s natural balance. It is a gentle and extremely pleasurable treatment and may help with stress-related conditions, hormone imbalance, headaches and migraine, back pain, digestive disorders, earache, sinusitis, allergies, lack of energy and sleep problems.

Emma Mitchell qualified as a Reflexologist in 1995 and is now working at The Naturopathic Centre - treatments cost £45.
